In Southeast Asia, the Inabata Group actively utilizes the collective strength of its group companies to expand its plastics business, including auto-related, as well as chemicals and IT& electronics businesses.
Inabata engages in the sale of commodity resins, high performance plastics, and compounds for the automobile, motorcycle, AV/OA (office automation) equipment, and home electronics industries. The company also deals in film and sheet products. In Indonesia, Inabata manufactures and sells sporting goods materials.
In the chemicals sector, Inabata trades in raw materials and additives for the manufacture of resin and rubber, mainly in Thailand.
In the IT & electronics segment, LCD materials and materials for toners and ink used in the copier and printing sectors are sold mainly from Inabata Singapore.
The food business helps maintain a healthy export sector for Inabata in Southeast Asia. Marine products such as shrimp and other seafood for sushi are shipped after being processed locally.
In India, where we gained a foothold in 2008, we are focusing on the sale of plastics and chemicals for broad applications including automobiles.
