The ongoing globalization in business and financial sectors demands that we standardize and guarantee the quality of products and services. To accomplish this aim, the International Organization for Standardization in 1987 set forth standards for both products and services known as ISO9001. Inabata & Co. received ISO9001 certification in connection with transactions and marketing carried out at its head office, branches and business offices across the nation as of April 1, 2005. Inabata did this with a view to guaranteeing the quality of products and services it offers as a trading house and to boost the level of customer satisfaction. We will continue to step up our efforts to provide high quality products and services so that we will become a genuinely ''Good Company'' for our stakeholders.

Industry and the Environment - A Harmonious Balance
At Inabata and Co., we consider it our responsibility as a corporate citizen to contribute not only to industrial development but also to the improvement of natural environment. As a result, we are working to develop new industries centered around information and biological technologies to help achieve a more harmonious balance between the two.
The many environmental problems we face today - global warming, acid rain, dioxin, hormone disruption and depletion of forest, oil and natural gas resources - have come to us as "the price of progress" and pose a grave threat our modern way of life as we know it. To promote economic activity in harmony with environmental conservation and do our part as a member in good standing of the international corporate community, we have introduced environmental conservation management and surveillance systems at our head offices and all branches nationwide - receiving ISO14001 certification in 2000.
In the future, we will continue to implement programs contributing to environmental conservation and introduce educational and training programs for employees. We also look forward to joining hands with other environmentally responsible partners worldwide to help protect our natural resources and the world we live in.
