For suppliers, Inabata markets goods and materials to customers worldwide. After the first overseas arm in the post World War II period was established in Singapore in 1976, Inabata’s business outside Japan expanded steadily. Today, about half of Inabata Group’s sales and profits are generated in Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, the Americas, and Europe, as global operations gain momentum.he history of Inabata’s company logo “IK” dates back to its founding days. The two letters represent the initials of the founder Inabata Katsutaro. They are also homonyms for “love” (ai) and “respect” (kei) in Japanese Kanji characters. Katsutaro’s love of people and society continues to be a core value at the heart of Inabata & Co. to this day.
